- Percussion pass: clearer kick and snare attacks, retuned membrane modes, richer metallic hat/cymbal spectra and distinct crash/ride/wash decays. - Added velocity-aware noise brightness, independent component envelopes and deterministic noise-offset variation between hits; MIDI timestamps stay unchanged. - Added a 102-hit drum listening fixture alongside the existing 47-note GM sweep, plus rendered attack, spectral, repeat, choke and MIDI-controller regressions. - Mallet/bell pass: independent mode decays, velocity-dependent strike spectra and distinct wooden-bar, metal-bar and tubular-bell recipes. - Added shared vibraphone motor tremolo with explicit voice-link cleanup, and natural retirement of inaudible mallet tails. - Added a seven-patch mallet listening fixture and rendered modal, velocity, tail and tremolo regressions. All 86 diagnostics pass; separate clean and four-song builds.

- Electric-keyboard pass: warmer tine piano, distinct ratio-based FM piano and sharper clavinet articulation. - Added explicit modulation-index recipes and a velocity-aware asymmetric pickup stage with bounded curve caching and a feedforward clavinet comb. - Added an electric-keyboard listening fixture and rendered pickup, velocity, age and release regressions. All 77 diagnostics pass; separate clean and four-song builds.

- Acoustic-piano pass: velocity-dependent hammer excitation, prompt/aftersound shaping, longer bass decay and restrained body coloration. - Retuned acoustic and bright piano recipes with register-aware unison, distinct spectral balance and age-aware attack restoration. - Fixed release ramps beginning before scheduled MIDI note-off; explicit anchors and tracked release levels also prevent fast steals from raising release tails. - Added a piano listening fixture and rendered velocity, decay, sustain and release regressions. - Plucked-string pass: phase-calibrated allpass interpolation, pitch-aware loop damping and richer shaped excitation for guitars and basses. - Added compact body/pickup EQ recipes and prompt/aftersound decay shaping; cached waveforms preserve age through seeking and pause/resume. - Added a guitar/bass listening fixture and measured pitch, decay and age-restoration diagnostics. A bounded cold-generation budget and 120 ms startup allowance protect dense playback. All 62 diagnostics pass; clean and four-song builds remain separate.

- Expanded to 48 original melodic recipes with bright piano, FM EP, mallets/bells, organs, fretless bass, pizzicato strings, timpani, orchestra hit, synth brass, piccolo, whistle and saw lead. - Added per-channel instrument overrides with Follow MIDI, clear approximation labels and original MIDI program readouts. - Real-song playback pass: added an optional trim for long empty end-of-track tails while preserving the parsed file length. - Added small post-mixer RMS level meters beside all 16 channel numbers; mute, solo, volume and expression are reflected. - Fixed piano-roll note endings for All Notes Off, All Sound Off and GM reset; added a MIDI inspection report and regressions.
